Many standard gasket styles
(such as standard flange gaskets and gauge glass gaskets) are fabricated and
placed in inventory as stock items. And, as always, these products are
available for same or next day shipment.
But standard gasket
fabrication is just the beginning. APG specializes in custom gasket
fabrication. Our knowledge and expertise, coupled with our large inventory of a
variety of materials, uniquely positions us in our industry. (See the "Packing

 At
the heart of our custom fabrication operation is our in-house die-making
operation. Over 12,000 dies are in our library with individually assigned
customer part numbers ready for instant retrieval when gaskets are re-ordered.
Our die-making capability is centered around a CAD/CAM computer linked to a
66" x 48" plotter. Layouts are programmed into the computer by our
expert die makers, digitized directly from a sample, or loaded from customer
CAD files via modem or diskette. Layouts are then plotted on die boards or
directly on gasket materials for small quantity
hand-cut orders. It's fast, and it's accurate.
